Marcel Media, an INC 5000 ranked Chicago-based strategic interactive advisory firm, has won the 2008 Summit Emerging Media (Summit EMA) competition for their work with Northshore University Healthcare. Marcel Media's award-winning campaign included Web 2.0 tools and interactive chats to educate and engage patients and healthcare professionals.

The Summit EMA competition, created to identify the world's communication pioneers, honors winners for their leading edge use of new and emerging web technology. The 2008 competition included approximately 700 entries from numerous countries for which only 12 percent earned recognition. Marcel Media was honored for their work with Northshore University Healthcare (formerly Evanston Northwestern Healthcare, ENH).
