World Sports Network Secures Venture Financing from Valhalla
Investments
i-Gaming Industry Pioneer Mark Blandford Appointed to Board
SHANGHAI (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) December 11, 2008 --
World Sports Network, the consumer sports website from China, has
secured its first institutional round of venture funding from Valhalla
Investments Inc. As part of the deal, Mark Blandford, Director of
Valhalla, has been appointed as a director of WSN.

and Chinese (cn.wsn.com)
football websites have grown markedly in popularity and size since their
initial launch less than a year ago and now serve millions of page views
a month. WSN is now riding the surging wave of all things related to
sport in Mainland China while also benefiting from worldwide interest in
the English site. WSN will use the funding to further develop its
leading sports content and initiate coverage of additional sports
leagues such as the NBA.
