Top Floor Technologies Wins Two B2B Marketing Awards

Top Floor Technologies, a B2B marketing firm based in New Berlin, was awarded two Business Marketing Association (BMA) Bell "Excellence Awards" on April 29th for their work on behalf of MetalTek International and Deltrol Controls, a Division of Deltrol Corp.

Top Floor Technologies, a B2B marketing firm based in New Berlin, was awarded two Business Marketing Association (BMA) Bell Excellence Awards on April 29th for their work on behalf of MetalTek International and Deltrol Controls, a Division of Deltrol Corp.

Top Floor won the awards in the categories B2B Advertisement - Online for their Pay Per Click campaign management on behalf of Deltrol Controls and for Web Site - Between $25,001 and $50,000 on account of their new Website design for MetalTek.

All award categories were judged on four factors: creativity, production, selling proposition and results. Top Floor hit each of these marks with the judges for both projects.

With MetalTek's new site design, Top Floor's project team found creative ways to resolve two major usability problems with Metaltek's old site: poor organization of content and a lack of access to technical information for engineers. To address these issues, Top Floor created a new way for visitors to navigate the site by industry and added a dynamic Alloy Guide search for engineers to find technical specifications to identify the right casting for them.

Results over the first four months have been stellar, including a 455% increase in contact form submissions when compared with the same date range a year earlier.

For Deltrol Controls' PPC campaign, Top Floor's objective was to improve the volume of leads and decrease the cost per lead. This was done by removing or refining under-performing keywords. Comparing the second half of 2009 with the first half, leads increased 126% and the cost per lead dropped 55%.

"The campaign has really taken off since we made those changes," said Jo Stumpner, Top Floor's Pay Per Click manager. "As a marketer, your goal is to get good results for your clients. Getting an award for it is just icing on the cake."
