The book was met with acclaim as Kumara spread his unique brand of quirky humor to young readers across Australia and abroad. Now with the re-release of his newest collection, “The Green Imp” (published by Trafford Publishing), Kumara is introducing a new fan base to his imaginative fairy tales.

“‘The Green Imp’ is a companion book to ‘The Elf in the Dustbin,’” explains Kumara. “Children love and adore the stories in this book and will remember them forever.”

Geared towards readers 6 to 12 years old, ‘The Green Imp’ is an eclectic mix of stories. The collection covers a range of topics, from sci-fi to New Age. Additionally, each story is distinctively packaged for bedtime.

“The stories are light, humorous and insightful, and they always have a positive ending,” states Kumara, who attributes his sense of humor to his unabashed love for life. “Underneath the seriousness of life, there is an undying reality of love and joy that pervades the ‘oneness’ of everything.”
