It was today the turn of Everton’s Marouane Fellaini to see his official PFA Profile.

Fellaini signed for Everton in September 2008 from Standard Liege for a club record fee of £15 million, Fellaini quickly became a fan favourite at Goodison Park. Renowned for his large “afro” hair, determination and heading ability the Belgium midfielder has been a vital part of the Everton team since signing and his seen as somewhat of a cult hero amongst the Everton fans. He made his Everton debut in a 3-2 away victory at Stoke City and scored his first goal for the team against Newcastle United in a 2-2 home draw on 5 October 2008. Fellaini went on to score 9 goals in his debut season and despite picking up 13 bookings was named Everton’s Young Player of the Year for the 2008-09 season. Fellaini has been instrumental to Everton’s recent success, most notably helping the club to the final of the FA Cup in 2009 and the semi finals in 2012.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say “Fellaini will have no shortage of fans after his impressive performances for Everton since signing in 2008, most recently for his display against Manchester United in Everton’s opening day 1-0 win at the start of the 2012-13 season.”

“Of course a player with Fellaini’s talent requires a certain level of respect and responsibility and he is sure to be a major hit with fans on Facebook.”

Digital Sports Group will provide further PFA player profiles for every professional footballer in England. The Marouane Fellaini Facebook Page is now live.
