Destination engagement ring retailer launches emotional campaign that showcases real-life marriage proposals from couples across the country.

My husband and I watched the new spot together the first time and became emotional all over again. I kept staring at my ring. We felt as if we were re-living the moment.

The company singularly focuses on the soon-to-be engaged customer, and has become the destination for anyone who wants to purchase a ring as a symbol of their commitment. The new initiative features couples' real-life marriage proposals from YouTube and a music video set to Donavon Frakenreiter's song "Lovely Day."

While the campaign highlights the emotion associated with the exact moment someone gets engaged, it also showcases the engagement niche that Robbins Brothers has carved in the marketplace. It features both television spots and a music video which includes couples from all over the U.S., ranging from a firefighter who proposes to his girlfriend before leaving for Iraq, to an artist who drives 5000 miles to Alaska to propose to his sweetheart. One proposal involves an actor who performed in an on-stage play with his girlfriend, but reworked the script to incorporate those four words, "Will You Marry Me," which caught her off guard and triggered tears amongst the entire cast.

The television commercials serve as a new advertising vehicle for Robbins Brothers who has dominated the radio airwaves in the past. The spots have a genuine appeal and home video effect designed to connect with the viewer in a more personal way. Each couple's marriage proposal appeared on YouTube first, and then Robbins Brothers asked and received permission to use it for the campaign. While each one varies in idea and location, the reactions from the brides-to-be make it a universal experience.

"Lovely Day," the theme song for the campaign fits perfectly as the background music for the commercials and video. Similar to the sincerity and individuality of the featured engagements, music artist Donavon Frakenreiter has a genuine nature, big heart, and all-around charisma. The lyrics of "Lovely Day" sound upbeat and inspirational for anyone in love. The first verse well describes an engaged couple: "All I see is sunny sky, everytime I look into your eyes. Here we go again my friend, stayin' together 'til the end."
