On Maui, the resort areas of Wailea and Makena are home to Hawaii's most sought-after luxury property, and also some of the finest Realtors in the State. Hawaii Life Real Estate Services is thrilled to announce that Dano Sayles, one of South Maui's most well-known and productive Realtors, has joined their team.

"We're not sure where to start when it comes to describing Dano, the guy is simply the most-enthused person we've had the opportunity to work with," notes Matt Beall, Principal Broker of Hawaii LIfe. It's an enthusiasm that hasn't gone unnoticed. Dano sold more listings than any Realtor in South Maui last year (over $21M) and his total sales for 2009 (over $30M) ranked him #2 for the region. Spend even a few minutes with Dano, and you'll start to understand why he's been so successful in real estate…he's into it. Seriously.

A quick car ride around Wailea and Makena with Dano is like a Maui real estate tour that took decades to create. To say that he's familiar with the inventory would be a gross understatement. He not only knows the properties, he knows the people--who they are, where they came from, why they chose Maui, when the houses were built, the list goes on. It's nearly impossible to spend time with Dano in Wailea without stopping to chat to his extended ohana (Hawaiian for family). The guy is just a relationship magnet.

Dano has been a full-time Realtor on Maui for over 26 years. In that time, he's helped more than a thousand families purchase property on Maui. Dano has literally run the gamut when it comes to working with different types of inventory. Over the course of his career, he's represented over 700 properties--from affordable housing projects, to new custom homes, to subdivisions, and now luxury property. He's been the exclusive developer's agent for Maui neighborhoods in Kihei such as Pi'ilani Village, Ke Ali'i Kai, and Kilohana Ridge.

New communities have always been a big passion for Dano, and now he's made it a family business. Dano's son, Anthony Sayles, is a licensed Realtor who works with Dano in Wailea. Anthony has been licensed to sell real estate in Hawaii since he was 18 years old, and holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego. Anthony's business background helps The Sayles Team appeal to a broad client base (not to mention the fact that he was born and raised on Maui).

The Sayles Team's current passion is one that Hawaii Life now has the great honor to represent: Ho'olei, a luxury community in the heart of Wailea. Ho'olei is a community like nowhere else in Hawaii. Everyone at Hawaii Life is pretty excited about it. "I've had the blessing of being able to travel around the State of Hawaii, and I've seen a LOT of communities, and Ho'olei is quite possibly the finest luxury town home community anywhere in Hawaii," adds Matt Beall, "If there's anything better, I don't know where it is."

Hoolei is perched just slightly uphill from The Grand Wailea & the Four Seasons Maui. The developer has included membership at the Grand Wailea as part of the purchase--so guests enjoy all of the luxuries of the Grand Wailea and their luxury town home at Ho'olei. There's a showroom on-site, along with a vacation rental management service, a full workout facility, and an incredible pool. There are only a few villas left…so it will be exciting to see what's next for Dano and the Sayles Team!
