At the top of the list is Avatar - an ideal choice to escape from the pressures of modern life. It is the story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people. More than 10 years in the making, Avatar marks James Cameron's return to feature directing.

"Edge of Darkness" is an exclusive Blockbuster DVD and blu-ray rental and stars Mel Gibson as a detective looking into his political-activist daughter's death and uncovering layers of government conspiracies in the process. Mel Gibson's first leading role in 10 years and a gripping thriller based on the classic BBC series of the same name.

"Daybreakers" is another Blockbuster exclusive DVD and blu-ray rental and is a horror/occult movie about bloodsucking vampires - a departure from the recent trend in movies to identify with these pointy-toothed fiends. The year is 2017 and a plague had turned most of the planet's human population into vampires and the human race is on the brink of extinction. Just when all hope seems lost a secret is discovered that may provide the key to saving humanity. Starring Ethan Hawke, Sam Neill and Willem Defoe.

"The Road" is a gripping, post-apocalyptic thriller from the director of acclaimed western 'The Proposition' and an adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel (who was the writer of Oscar winning movie 'No Country for Old Men'). In a destroyed America, a father and son struggle to survive against the odds. Starring Viggo Mortensen, Robert Duvall and Charlize Theron.

A popular franchise familiar with the family, "St.Trinians 2 - The Legend of the Fritton's Gold" see the girls return for a new term at the eponymous academy with all the usual hi-jinks and mayhem with which that entails. This being a school where anything seems to happen and usually does, on a regular basis, the students soon find themselves thrown into an action-packed treasure hunt that will see them fighting off fierce competition for the coveted Fritton's Gold from establishment rivals and the mischievous Pomfrey and his assortment of woman-hating sidekicks. Colin Firth and David Tennant star in the film.
