Graduation and Spring Semester Highlights at Lincoln University

Lincoln University held its Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, May 25, at the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland. The Graduation Ceremony, included over 100 graduating students, capped off the end of a great spring semester that was filled with many activities.

The commencement speaker for the Graduation Ceremony was Judge Terrence Van Oss, a judge for the Superior Court of San Joaquin County. Van Oss is a graduate of Lincoln University’s law school program, which separated to become the independent Lincoln Law School of San Jose in 1987.

Lincoln held its annual graduation cruise party on Friday, May 17, where graduates enjoyed a cruise around San Francisco Bay.

The spring semester is the most active semester of the school year at Lincoln University. This spring, Lincoln introduced its first ever Yoga series with classes on Tuesdays throughout April. The Yoga series featured a gentle meditative stretch and a sanctuary to nourish body, mind, heart and soul. Lincoln also hosted its annual Cultural Show on April 11.

Lincoln University is a community of learning whose members include administration, faculty and students who are all international in origin and in outlook.
