Deb Sedberry, of New Lenox, Ill., was recently named assistant vice president, banking center manager at MB Financial Bank located in Glenwood at 18301 S. Halsted St.
A native of Glenwood, Ill., Sedberry brings 35 years of banking experience to MB. Prior to joining the organization, she served as first vice president, regional manager at Old Second Bank. Previous to that, Sedberry was market president at US Bank (USB) where she was selected as president of the USB Development Network.
Over the years, Sedberry has been involved in a host of non-profit organizations, including board positions with Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, Rich Township Food Pantry, Matteson Area Chamber of Commerce, Hazel Crest Chamber, Park Forest Rotary and Habitat for Humanity South Suburban Affiliate. She has also been involved with Illinois Theatre Center, Orland Park Rotary, Tall Grass Arts Association, Professional Women’s Network and CenterPoint at Governors State University, where she offers workshops on start-up for small business owners. Sedberry is currently active with the Homewood Rotary, Homewood Flossmoor Glenwood Chamber and the Chicago Southland Chamber.
