Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 12, 2012
MB Financial Bank, 6422 W. Archer Ave. in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood of Chicago, is hosting a community “Shred and Electronic Disposal Event” so that residents can safely dispose of sensitive papers and documents and unwanted electronics. This event will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at the banking center.
“Acme Refining, an expert in information destruction, will have two shredding trucks on-site to safely and securely shred your old materials, right before your eyes,” says Jim Phillipp, Assistant Banking Center Manager. “Materials will be shredded on a first come, first served basis and services will cease once both trucks are full.”
“You’ll also be able to safely dispose of your unwanted electronics including PCs, laptops, servers, monitors, data storage devices, tapes, disks, drives, switches, cable boxes, modems, printers, fax machines, copiers, VCRs, DVD players, video game consoles, telephones and wireless devices,” Phillipp explains. “It’s a convenient and safe way to clean out unwanted items from the garage, basement and home office. We encourage everyone in the surrounding community to stop by.” Refreshments will be served.
