I had the pleasure of filming weddings in extraordinary venues all over Boston and New England. Every wedding is so unique and beautiful. Our work is always thrilling.

Owner and videographer, Ben McElroy started McElroy Weddings to bring the quality of high definition at an unmatched value to the brides and grooms of New England and Florida. Years later, the commitment to individual attention and cinematic style has already won the praise of Brides and coveted Bride’s Choice Awards and Best of Weddings from websites Wedding Wire and The Knot. Now, McElroy Weddings can add an entirely different award to the shelf.
“The awards from Wedding Wire and The Knot are special because they are based solely on client reviews,” Ben said. “But now we’ve been recognized by our industry peers for our quality of shooting and editing, and that is definitely an indicator that we are providing our clients the best possible videography for their wedding day.”
Thus, McElroy weddings was awarded a bronze Telly Award for its 2012 McElroy Demo Reel, a video comprised of the best cinematography from over 90 weddings shot and edited in 2011.
The videographers of McElroy Weddings travelled everywhere from the very tip of the Cape to Maine, New Hampshire to Rhode Island, Western and Eastern Massachusetts, and everywhere between. There were weddings in back yards, inns, beach resorts, and country clubs. Beautiful venues such as the Worcester Art Museum, the State Room, the Taj, the Seaport Hotel, Union Station in Worcester, the Wequassett Resort, and the Boston Public Library became the sites of some of the most beautiful New England weddings last year.
“I had the pleasure of filming weddings in extraordinary venues all over Boston and New England,” Ben mused. “Every wedding is so unique and beautiful. Our work is always thrilling.”
The process of creating the 2012 Demo Reel proved difficult as, at year’s end, there were days and days worth of quality high-definition footage to sift through.
“Every wedding this year had at least a handful of moments worth placing in the Demo Reel,” Ben explained. “Unfortunately, we couldn’t put out a 4-hour video, so it was edited down to what I consider our best reel yet.”
After seeing footage like that, where else would you go to for wedding videography?
