11% of sales at all New Hampshire and Maine stores to benefit the Chaplain's Emergency Relief Fund

"We are committed to thanking those that serve."

The upcoming 2011 Veterans Day (11/11/11) signifies honoring those that have and do serve our country. This year the specific date holds additional interest and meaning given the anomaly of the month, day and year only containing the number 11. As a brand that is dedicated to military appreciation and supporting the local communities in which its stores reside, The Meat House is holding a monthly “11s Charitable Promotion” to benefit the Chaplain's Emergency Relief Fund (CERF).

“We are committed to thanking those that serve,” said The Meat House Founding Partner Justin Rosberg. “Our customers turn out in droves for our annual Operation: Thank You! event and we hope they’ll take this opportunity to help us further extend our military appreciation.”

On the 11th day of each month in 2011 until November 11, 2011, 11% of sales at all New Hampshire and Maine Meat House stores will be donated to CERF. This charitable organization focuses on raising awareness and providing support so that military Chaplains throughout the state of New Hampshire can continue to aid military personnel and families in the event of a crisis. The Meat House stores locations participating in the “11s Charitable Promotion” include:

  •     Scarborough
  •     Wells
  •     York

New Hampshire:

  •     Alton
  •     Bedford
  •     Dover
  •     Exeter
  •     Pembroke
  •     Portsmouth

The “11’s Charitable Promotion” is a fundraising campaign that compliments “Operation: Thank You!”- an annual military appreciation event attended by more than 1,200 military personnel and families that was first established in the summer of 2004 by The Meat House and Redhook Ale Brewery. This year’s “Operation: Thank You!” event will take place at the Redhook brewery in Portsmouth on July 24th, 2011.
