Louis Bioche E.I.T, initially joined SmartWatt Energy’s team as a Project Engineer in the company’s Scranton, PA office. In this role, he developed lighting and mechanical efficiency projects by identifying, assessing and structuring technical and financial solutions for customer’s energy-efficiency needs. As Energy Engineer in the company’s Albany, NY-based Multi-Measure Group, Louis will be responsible for identifying opportunities for customers to reduce energy consumption through the installation of energy-efficient mechanical equipment and for the design and engineering of these projects. He will work closely with the company’s lighting Project Engineers to develop comprehensive lighting and mechanical projects for food processing, manufacturing and refrigerated and freezer warehouse customers nationwide. Louis earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, where he was active in Engineers without Borders, serving as Project Leader and Vice President. He also interned with Bambeck Systems, Inc., where he worked on efficient combustion control systems for industrial process heaters and boilers.

Corey Smith began his career with SmartWatt Energy as an Administrative Associate in its Scranton, PA office. Due to Corey’s ability to learn and embracement of company training, he was promoted to Project Coordinator where he was responsible for coordinating and scheduling projects for customers and worked closely with Project Engineers to aid in the design and engineering of energy-efficiency upgrade projects. In his new role as Project Engineer I, Corey will be responsible for developing, auditing and designing energy-efficient LED and fluorescent lighting upgrade projects for the company’s regional and national account commercial and industrial customers in the Pennsylvania area. He earned his A.S. degree in Computer Information Systems from ITT Technical Institute.
