Fort Myers, Florida (PRWEB) October 21, 2013
After more than 35 years as an attorney in the Miami and Fort Myers areas, most recently as a partner in Conroy, Simberg and Ganon, Ronald Buschbom has turned his focus completely to alternate dispute resolution and founded Buschbom Mediations. In an effort to expand his exposure to potential clients, he has joined Mediation.com, the premier online mediation network.
“I’ve been mediating disputes for three and a half decades,” Buschbom said, “as a natural part of my work as an attorney for plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury lawsuits and commercial lawsuits – literally hundreds of successful mediations. Mediation.com is the ideal network for me to get my name out there and connect with people who need experienced, skilled mediation services.”
Buschbom focuses his mediation services in the fields of personal injury, commercial litigation, and wrongful death. He has handled cases involving catastrophic injuries such as amputations, quadriplegia and medical malpractice, some of which had verdicts for plaintiffs over a million dollars. He has also represented developers, contractors, subcontractors, property managers, condominium associations and home owners association in defective construction cases not involving injury. His undergraduate degree in engineering and master's in finance gives him a unique insight into the issues involved in commercial litigation cases, many of which involved mediating settlements with non-monetary agreements and intricate payment plans.
Buschbom is a member of the Florida Bar Association and has been a member of the Lee County Bar Association and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. He has also served as Director of the Dade County Insurance Defense lawyers Association, and the past President of the Southwest Florida Federal Bar Association. He is an AV rated Martindale Hubbell attorney and as such, frequently lectures for the National Business Institute and other continuing education groups.
A lifetime resident of Florida, Buschbom graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and from the University of Miami with an MBA in Finance in 1970 and a JD in 1977.
