After xxover 20 years years, MMS has refreshed the look of their iconic logo and adopted a new tag line. “MMS’s new corporate identity statement sums up the rationale for these changes,” Ben Olson, Creative Principal at MMS’s ad agency 3MA. “The [new] tag line is “Message Delivered”, which is what MMS has done and will always do for medical marketers past, present and future."
From direct mail to email to the future of communication delivery, MMS is known for providing high quality service with a high quality product in order for the client to reach high quality prospects.
Three ideas were implemented in the creation of the new MMS identity. “The first idea was the message. It was essential in creating an icon for it to be relevant to the nature of the business,” Olson continues. “For over 80 years, MMS has modified itself to the upcoming needs of communication delivery. Beginning with direct mail, then email, and in the future...whatever comes.”
The second idea involved color. “Orange not only brings with it a recognizable comfort from the past identity but connotations that include vitality, optimism, friendly and communicative. Purple, the secondary color brings with it connotations that include expressive, thrilling, and creative” Olson explains.
Finally. the lowercase lettering has a much more personable reaction and reflects the more approachable identity of MMS.
Garth Elliott has been promoted to President from Vice President, Business Development. Former President, Richard (Dick) Elliott has assumed the role of Chairman. Terry Nugent has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing from Vice President, Marketing.
