Medjet’s News Center will allow us to provide current information that is relevant to the savvy traveler.
Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) October 18, 2011
MedjetAssist, the premier medical evacuation membership program in the United States, announced today the launch of its new News Center and the relaunch of its monthly electronic public relations newsletter Medjet Media Wire.
Medjet News Center
The Medjet News Center will serve as a portal to current news about the company, including transport stories and new travel products for writers and members of the press. Medjet News Center can be found online at MedjetNewsCenter.com.
“Medjet’s News Center will allow us to provide current information that is relevant to the savvy traveler,” said Roy Berger, President and CEO of Medjet. Berger also adds, “Because the content provided by the site is relevant to today’s traveler, it is a brilliant resource for travel writers, whether they are blogging or writing a feature for a travel trade publication.”
In addition to feature stories and recent transports, the News Center will also serve as the archival and sign-up page for the Medjet Media Wire, the company’s monthly public relations eNewsletter. Travel writers and members of the press can also request media kits, download medical transport images, view and order high definition b-roll of medical transport components ranging from Medjet’s control center to air ambulance transport footage.
Medjet Media Wire
Medjet is also relaunching its monthly public relations electronic newsletter, the Medjet Media Wire. The electronic newsletter was started in 2010 and originally served as a monthly communication to members of the media and to travel writers. The retooled Medjet Media Wire will contain a letter from the president, medical evacuation transport stories and other relevant news and information about Medjet and its products.
“Medjet Media Wire will be an extension of Medjet’s News Center,” said Will McKee, Medjet’s Director of Public Relations and Marketing. “As a monthly newsletter, Medjet Media Wire will be able to deliver recent and relevant content directly to the inboxes of writers and journalist without them having to remember to constantly visit the News Center page.”
The Medjet Media Wire’s new look and feel will mirror that of it’s sister electronic newsletter Medjet eNews. Also issued monthly, Medjet eNews is less trade related and focuses more on travel tips and health and safety tips from travel experts like Andrew Harper, Peter Greenberg and The World Wide Will. Both monthly electronic newsletters can be subscribed to on the Medjet News Center site. Archived editions of Medjet eNews are also available on the site.
