Healthy Travel Media (HTM), publisher of the Patients Beyond Borders series of books, digital publications, videos, and online media for the medical tourism sector, has named Kate Johnson as Editorial Program Manager.
Ms. Johnson has been a member of the Patients Beyond Borders team for several years and has extensive experience as a researcher, copyeditor, developmental editor, and proofreader, with a specialty in scientific and medical subjects.
In her new role, Ms. Johnson will continue to work with HTM’s editorial and production teams, researching and implementing existing and planned print publications as well as HTM’s new digital offerings. Additionally, she will manage the production process for two of HTM’s most successful projects, including the Focus On series, which profiles leading international hospitals in depth, and Special Editions, which cover regions and cities emerging as top medical travel destinations.

Ms. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from Yale University. She currently resides in Connecticut with her husband, where her office is based.
