ZyDoc Medical Transcription is pleased to announce the execution of a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) agreement with International Physicians Networks (IPN). Under the terms of this agreement, ZyDoc will offer transcription and related information technology services to more than 17,000 IPN specialty members.

James M. Maisel, M.D., Chairman of ZyDoc explains, "Our new alliance with IPN should be beneficial for both companies that focus on specialty community-based referral practices. IPN will be able to offer its members preferred pricing for specialized medical transcription and information technology infrastructure support from ZyDoc. ZyDoc will obtain an additional marketing channel to reach specialty groups within the International Physicians Network. These specialists include oncologists, rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, ophthalmologists, dermatologists, orthopedists, urologists and nephrologists. ZyDoc has been providing customized specialty and sub-specialty transcription services to these medical groups and will be able to rapidly expand services. Award-winning ZyDoc web-based services are readily integrated into the private practice group environment and extend the value of their current legacy systems."

The ZyDoc Internet-based platform provides significant advantages to these groups with secure web-based records accessible from all offices, the home, or hospital. ZyDoc workflow seamlessly allows the clinical documentation generated with transcription and e-signature to be distributed to referring physicians improving efficiency and promoting referrals. In addition, the documentation can be leveraged to support billing claims especially for custom pharmaceuticals distributed by IPN and its parent companies. ZyDoc data-mining tools will also provide physician groups with valuable practice management information and the ability to perform clinical research.
