My story is one that I hope will encourage others to remember that even in the midst of life’s most difficult circumstances there is hope. That hope is in Christ.

In “Code 1” (published by WestBow Press), Meg Jordan’s new spiritual and inspirational memoir, readers are given an insider’s perspective about an extremely tragic ordeal which transformed her life and brought her closer to God.
When Jordan was working at a mental health hospital at 23, she was falsely accused of causing the death of a teenage patient during a physical restraint. This trial prompted her to question everything about her life and her purpose. After years of searching for hope, peace and purpose, she found Christ.
An excerpt from “Code 1”:
“What started out as a typical evening at work, caring for kids, quickly took a tragic turn. During a crisis moment of intervention, a sixteen-year old patient died while being physically restrained by me and several of my co-workers. Four months later, I was accused of causing his death; I was charged with involuntary manslaughter. If anyone would have told me then that anything positive could have come from this tragedy and subsequently, the trial that followed, I would have told them they had lost their mind.
But it did.”
“Code 1” delivers a message of hope to readers. “Everyone suffers through trials in life,” says Jordan. “My story is one that I hope will encourage others to remember that even in the midst of life’s most difficult circumstances there is hope. That hope is in Christ.”
