This summer, Beachside Apartments has achieved 100% occupancy after beginning a new marketing campaign highlighted by a recent website redesign. The new site includes more in-depth description of the units and location, a more user-friendly navigation, and high-quality property photos.

While 100% occupancy is the ideal for many managers and landlords of multi-family buildings, a successful and sustainable model works to achieve 90% occupancy. As a result of the sustained economic downturn, Melbourne apartments have not been fully occupied since 2008. In addition to better exposure through the improved website, Sam Zimmerman, owner and landlord of the apartment complex, also attributes their success to the quality of the units themselves and the excellence of the management and maintenance team.

Beachside Apartments is designed to incorporate oceanside luxury living with practical considerations for safety. The apartment homes feature ocean views, open floor plans, and nine-foot ceilings. The grounds are well kept and landscaped with native tropical plants. Other amenities include optional garage space and climate controlled storage units.

The concrete construction was adopted to help the building withstand hurricane season. In addition, the units are outfitted with 135 mph impact glass windows to further protect against potential hurricane damage.

“We also know that it’s all about location,” says Zimmerman. “Our tenants are people looking for that beachfront property with the beautiful views of the ocean. Our apartments are also close to everything: shopping and entertainment in Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach, and we’re only about 45 minutes away from Orlando International Airport. We are also serving as offsite Patrick Air Force Base Housing.”
