The certification was awarded after an exhaustive independent audit of Member Solutions’ business operations and practices conducted by Trustwave, the leading provider of on-demand data security and payment card industry compliance management solutions, and a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) registered with the PCI Security Standards Council.

The standard, PCI DSS, was formed to help organizations proactively secure its customers' personal financial information. Endorsed by major credit card brands American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Inc., the PCI DSS segments payment service provider compliance requirements into three levels based on the number of transactions processed and/or transmitted yearly. Level One is the highest ranking and carries the most stringent certification requirements.
A comprehensive on-site audit of billing systems and processes, review of documented policies and procedures, recurring network security scans, and system penetration testing are performed to ensure Member Solutions meets the Level One Service Provider requirements and complies with the twelve core elements of the PCI DSS.
