Templates have been around for a long time. Most everyone has used a template in some form or another since it is a big timesaver and a great way to produce something beautiful without all the hard work.

The Funeral Program Site has now added to the company’s already large inventory of templates, a funeral card template. This product enables funeral directors or their staff to produce funeral related printed materials by using software already installed on office or home computers.

The template files are predesigned and preformatted in Microsoft Word, Publisher, OpenOffice, or Apple iWork Pages. Because the files provide a background theme and preformatted text boxes, users can just fill in the information and print as needed. There is no special paper to purchase, templates are printed on blank sheets to enable the file to print the images contained inside the template.

“Producing funeral related printed materials in this fashion saves costs and can provide a larger profit margin for funeral directors. There is actually a larger selection of choices for programs, prayer cards, memorial cards and bookmarks,” notes Carole Galassi, CEO and founder of The Funeral Program Site.

The company has been online since 2008 but has serviced the death care industry for over a decade. “We started as a printing company and customized funeral programs for our customers. Our designs were so well received that we decided to offer them to families and funeral homes alike,” adds Galassi.

Now with over a dozen different layouts and hundreds of designs to choose from, The Funeral program Site is now considered to be the leader in the funeral templates industry. “This graphic design company are staffed with professionals who know what they are doing and I have never been disappointed and neither have the families I service,” reports Doug Mann, a funeral director from San Antonio, Texas.

In addition to the vast amount of templates available for immediate download, businesses are able to select from other memorial keepsake products such as unique guest books, which the company manufactures directly, plantable seed memorials, and custom photo candles.
