LowVaRates Releases Memorial Day infographics to honor troops

In my opinion we do not honor our fallen troops enough and this Memorial Day during the Moment of Remembrance we have a great chance to honor the selfless sacrifices our fallen troops have made for our freedoms.

Memorial Day always represents a wonderful time to look back at those that have passed on and honor their memory. This Memorial Day, LowVARates.com, a division of Flagship Financial LLC, created two Memorial Day infographics discussing ways to celebrate and honor our fallen troops and pointing out some of the “must see” Memorial Day events.

The first infographic discusses the many ways Americans can celebrate Memorial Day and show their appreciation for the troops that have given their lives for our freedoms.

One of the forgotten traditions of Memorial Day, established in 1915, is to wear a red poppy flower. Wearing the red poppy shows your appreciation, honor and respect to those that have died in war serving this great nation.

Another very popular patriotic Memorial Day tradition is to decorate the graves of the fallen troops with an American Flag, flowers or any other sentimental item. This has been a popular tradition over the years and continues to be a great way to show appreciation for the troops that have passed on.

In 2000, President Bill Clinton established the “National Moment of Remembrance” at 3 pm on Memorial Day. The moment was established to reflect on the true purpose and sacrifices that should be honored on Memorial Day.

Branch manager of LowVARates.com, a division of Flagship Financial LLC, Eric Kandell, has suggested that all Americans take the time at 3 pm on Memorial Day to show our honor and respect for our fallen troops.

“In accordance with the National Moment of Remembrance, at 3 pm on Memorial Day, we want everyone to take a few minutes and honor and remember our fallen troops with us,” Kandell said. “In my opinion we do not honor our fallen troops enough and this Memorial Day during the Moment of Remembrance we have a great chance to honor the selfless sacrifices our fallen troops have made for our freedoms.”

The second infographic released by LowVARates, a division of Flagship Financial LLC, discusses some of the “must see” events that regularly take place during the Memorial Day weekend.
Some of the events include the Chicago Memorial Day Parade, The National Memorial Day Concert and the Indianapolis 500. The Memorial Day weekend always has a large variety of events nationwide and provides a great way for Americans to celebrate our troops and country.

The two infographics are designed to help Americans focus on our troops that have passed on and give some fun and meaningful ways to celebrate the Memorial Day weekend.

“We really want to make a push for our customers and fans to take the time on Memorial Day to honor the troops,” Kandell said. “I think it would be a great thing for you and your family to take a few minutes out of your Memorial Day and do some sort of patriotic activity to remember and honor our fallen troops.”
