Merchant Services Provider Expands, Continues Hiring

I was initially drawn to First American because of the leadership team

As a result of the continued growth and success of First American Payment Systems’ Strategic Partnership Channel, the industry-leading company has expanded its team with the hire of Cody Yanchak as Manager of Strategic Partnerships.

Yanchak will establish, maintain and develop core partnerships with entities that directly provide merchant services like credit card processing and electronic payments, including independent sales offices (ISOs), sales agents and financial institutions.

“I was initially drawn to First American because of the leadership team,” Yanchak said, adding that the size and stability of First American will afford him opportunities to make unique contributions to the company. “I am eager to combine my determination and skill with First American’s industry-leading merchant services solutions. I believe it will be a recipe for success for myself, the business and our partners.”

Yanchak’s career in payment processing gives him a unique and well-rounded perspective on the industry. He has worked for one of the largest payment processors in the U.S. as well as a large start-up ISO. “I have seen a wide range of partnership needs and solutions, and I believe this gives me a deep and rare insight into the industry.”

As part of the Chase Paymentech Proactive Team, he led the team in volume by bringing in more than $5 million annually due to the number of merchants he signed. In his first two years at Chase Paymentech, he was ranked in the top 10 percent in accounts submitted, net revenue signed and achieved revenue. He was later hired by Century Payments to help build an inside sales team. At Century, Cody managed a team of 10 sales executives that signed merchant accounts for partners, associations, financial institutions and self-sourced leads.

“We are impressed by Cody’s credentials and confident that with his experience and dedication to partners, he is going to be an asset to our company,” said Rhoda Steward, Director of Sales. “As First American continues to grow, we will need leaders like Cody to accommodate new partners, building programs based on each partner’s goals.”
