There's no other venue that lets busy executives stay informed of the market on a continuing basis, let alone hear directly from the buyers in an open discussion of what they are looking for.

A tech M&A global market update and valuation presentation this week highlights the growing impact of Asia on software, internet & IT M&A. Software mergers and acquisitions specialist Corum Group sponsors a limited number of free registrations for the Thursday, May 6, 1:00 PM EDT (New York time) webcast event via MergersAndAcquisitions.webex.com
"We're delighted to welcome these four industry leaders from Asia, where the real growth is happening," explained Bruce Milne, Corum Group CEO. "We know our clients and buyer contacts will be joined at the webcast by software executives from around the world."
The special Asia Rising presentation occurs as part of a regular monthly webinar Corum has been sponsoring since the financial crisis in 2008, Milne explained. "We started it in response to the need for information on the economic impact on software M&A. But the gratifying response and growing demand from software entrepreneurs and corporate executives has kept us going on a monthly basis." Milne said the last special session with multiple guest speakers, in January, had about 800 registrants from over 30 countries, and he is prepared to extend the free offer that far again.
"The value to software entrepreneurs, managers and corporate development staff is evident," added Elon Gasper, a former Corum client who heads the firm's Advisory Board. "There's no other venue that lets busy executives stay informed of the market on a continuing basis, let alone hear directly from the buyers in an open discussion of what they are looking for." Prior guest speakers have included representatives from Google, Cisco, and major Private Equity firms.
The four "Asia Rising" guest speakers representing regions of that continent are:
- Dubai: Mohamed Hamedi, one of the Arab world's leading tech entrepreneurs, who recently sold his Silicon Oasis- and Intel-backed firm to a Taiwanese company;
- India: K. Srinivasan from Polaris Software Lab Ltd, one of the rising stars in the Indian scene, whose public company in Chennai is actively looking to buy more companies in Europe & the US,
- China: Ping Luo in Nanjing with an update from one the world's fastest growing companies, as it looks West to recruit more partners, and
- Australia: Tim Moore, one of Australia's leading entrepreneurs, who sold two companies through Corum directly, who now as an investor will give an M&A update from Down Under.
