Merlin's Legacy puts players in the shoes of a young apprentice, studying under the famous wizard's tutelage. When mysterious forces bring about Merlin's demise, his protégé begins a fantastic quest, vowing to avenge his master's death. Along the way, players do battle against a myriad of would be usurpers, who are also trying to take Merlin's title for their own, wielding the power of incredible spells and fantastic creatures. Players can focus on a particular school of magic or mix and match spells as they progress through the engaging story line. The game also features Tournament and Endless War modes of play, each with unlockables that can carry over into the campaign.
