These certifications are an extension of our commitment to a higher level of service and capability to give our customers the best quality products in the industry.

Hartford, CT (PRWEB) January 31, 2013

Merritt Graphics, a division of Joseph Merritt Company headquartered in Hartford, Conn., is proud to announce two certificates that distinguish it in the print industry.

In December, Merritt Graphics applied to be certified by 3M to meet 3M’s exacting requirements and to extend the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty to its customers on finished graphics. While this certification is not required by 3M, it demonstrates Merritt’s commitment to excellence, and gives its customers a better value and greater peace of mind. Becoming certified is a rigorous process that tests the knowledge of the entire graphics department. After completing the tests and passing the 3M inspection of the Merritt Graphic’s large-format facility, Merritt’s certification was approved.

In addition to this acclaim, Merritt Graphics also applied for and achieved certification through HP to become a Graphics Specialist Partner. This is a program set up by HP to recognize companies in the print industry meeting or exceeding the high standards and expertise required to support HP Graphics solutions. This is an optional program that helps define the leaders in the print industry. The quality of Merritt’s facility and expertise of its production team enabled the company to earn this second certification.

Ed Perry, CEO and President of Joseph Merritt Company, comments, “We have always offered superior products to our customers. These certifications are an extension of our commitment to a higher level of service and capability to give our customers the best quality products in the industry.”

Joseph Merritt Company has been a leader in graphic imaging and printing services since purchasing its first electric blueprint machine in 1908. Over the course of the 20th Century, it has expanded its printing capabilities to become a full-service print marketing and document management company.
