Metal Fabrication and metal stamping is needed by the client fast because inventories are being depleted and waiting for a late boat from Asia is unacceptable when supply chains are tightening. Responding to the fast delivery requirements of manufacturing engineers, Marlin Steel’s fast metal forming machine is meeting medical and industrial clients demands for fast delivery. Another Marlin Mechanical Engineer, Christopher Elwood, pointed out that “this machine can run over one hundred sheets of material unattended at night and weekends so shipment dates are the fastest in the industry.”

Raw material sheet size can be as large as 100" x 50" so more parts are yielded from a single sheet lowering the cost per part because Marlin Steel is more efficient in reducing scrap material. Marlin Steel’s software allows the parts to nested on the sheet in an optimized manner to maximum the yield of parts per sheet. Because the sheets are optimized, the client saves money.

In addition, the sheet metal forming machine can bend and stamp aluminum, stainless steel, low carbon mild steel as well as lexan, glass, laminated material, plastic & even cardboard.
