MG Trucklines, Nationwide FTL and LTL Carrier add GPS Tracking to Fleet

MG Trucklines has enhanced its already award winning transportation services by adding GPS tracking to all trucks. This move improves the efficiency of operations and enhances the communication to customers.

MG Trucklines, a division of Miller Gordon, LLC, announced Wednesday that the entire fleet of trucks has been updated to provide on board communications and tracking for its entire fleet.

MG Trucklines, founded in 2000, was recently named one of Inc. Magazine's 5000 fastest growing companies and one of top 100 growing companies in transportation and logistics. The company has been known to implement technology to improve service to customers worldwide.

According to Jared Loosli, MG Trucklines' President, the communications system should be 100% operational by July 1st. "This investment will improve the service to our customers, the safety to our drivers, and the competitiveness of our company as a whole," he said. "I'm very pleased with the initial results."

The upgrade to GPS tracking and onboard communications is just the beginning of MG Trucklines' enhancement plans. The company announced that it plans to provide web access to all customer shipments by this fall, enhancing communications even further.
