The Florida car accident that is described in the court documents allegedly occurred on November 5, 2012 at approximately 1:12 a.m. at the intersection of S. Dixie Highway and Red Road, Coral Gables, Miami-Dade County as stated in the court documents. The court documents further allege that at the time of the crash, the defendant had a Blood Alcohol Content, or BAC, of 0.246, which is more than three times the legal limit in the state of Florida.
The court documents go on to assert that as a result of the accident at issue, the plaintiff “suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, aggravation of a preexisting condition, disability, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, expenses of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment, loss of wages in the past and future loss of earning capacity.” These claims were made aside from the subsequent document that was filed that seeks punitive damages in the case.
