MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (PRWEB) October 03, 2014
From Michael J. Akers, author of “Enriching Christian Doctrine and Character,” comes the new book, “Morning and Evening Meditations from the Word of God: Education, Challenge, Inspiration, and Encouragement” (published by WestBow Press), featuring 732 meditations for Christians and others seeking the Christian faith.
“Severe hearing disability forced me to stop teaching Bible classes that I had been doing for nearly 30 years,” writes Akers. “I started writing these meditations to compensate for the loss of my teaching ministry. Basically, I transferred teaching from the spoken word to the written word.”
Written for Christians and those interested in Christianity from all walks of life, “Morning and Evening Meditations from the Word of God” provides two meditations for every day of the year. Akers uses everyday examples to offer support to readers dealing with challenges in their daily lives.
Through his book, Akers aims to provide a better appreciation of and dedication to biblical truths. He hopes readers will grow in their faith, taking a little time out from their days to reflect on God’s presence in their lives.
