Mark Demorest Named 2011 Primerus Business Law Institute Chair

Demorest Law Firm, PLLC attorney Mark Demorest has been named Chair of the Primerus Business Law Institute for 2011.

Demorest Law Firm, PLLC, which has offices located in Birmingham and Dearborn, MI, is pleased to announce that its founder and Managing Member, Mark S. Demorest, has been elected to serve on the Primerus Business Law Institute (PBLI) Executive Committee as Chair for 2011. Mr. Demorest served as the PBLI Vice Chair for 2010.

The PBLI Executive Committee members are nominated and elected by their peers as a result of their involvement with and dedication to the PBLI. As Chair, Mr. Demorest will be responsible for the planning of annual, educational PBLI conferences, will attend regular Primerus Executive Committee meetings, and will provide guidance on the direction of the PBLI. Additionally, Mr. Demorest will facilitate collaboration amongst the members within the PBLI and other Primerus Institutes.

Mr. Demorest graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a B.A. in 1979. He then attended the University of Michigan Law School where he was elected to the Order of the Coif, which is an honor society for law school graduates in the top 10 percent of their class. Mr. Demorest graduated magna cum laude with his Juris Doctor degree in 1983.
