Carl & Co.™ may be one of the new kids on the block, but it's clear they are out to make a difference. They began offering real estate services with Keller Williams in April of 2004, at the very beginning of the worst downturn in Michigan real estate history. In a short time they established a presence that rivals other agents and teams that have been in business for decades. A real estate team with Keller Williams Great Lakes; in 2010 they led the market center in sales by a 7 figure margin to their nearest competitor. Armed with a proven track record for selling their clients properties quick and for above average prices they are out to challenge their own 2010 record this year.

"When reviewing local listings it's incredible to me how many homes have been on the market literally for years! The old school real estate methods just don't work like they used to. The Michigan real estate market is in desperate need of change and we feel we're meeting that need with tremendous success," said Principal REALTOR ® and team founder Carl Eschenburg. "Selling real estate requires far more than putting a home on the MLS. Our team takes a partnership approach with our clients where our primary job is to educate, inform and make sure we are there for them during the entire sales process. Whether we're working with Grosse Pointe Michigan Homes for Sale or a vacant land in Macomb County our process always starts with establishing a personalized marketing plan and sales price in alignment with both the seller’s needs and the current market. We then guide our client every step of the way from property preparation and staging to keeping them informed of our marketing results with the ultimate goal of negotiating a purchase contract that meets or exceeds their expectations. We feel these should be the minimum commitments to earning the right of listing and selling a piece of real estate; while the unsettling trend is that many others consider that level of service to be too much work."

Carl & Company recently launched what may just become the new standard in functional and easy-to-use real estate websites. The site offers users accurate and up-to-date Michigan real estate listing information, as well as, timely news, blog posts and relevant content for both buyers and sellers. Their MI-HomeSEARCH™ technologies make researching and finding properties simple and fun. Using MI-HomeSEARCH™ users can begin searching Michigan real estate MLS Listings with a simple click of the mouse without confusing search options or drop-down menus; one-click and they are viewing the most accurate listing data available. With a FREE MI-HomeSEARCH™ account users can bookmark favorite properties, save an unlimited number of searches and even get daily email alerts of new listings that match their needs.

"It’s not a secret that the majority of buyers and sellers begin their real estate process online. Most of the available sites in Southeast Michigan were difficult to use and navigate,” said Eschenburg. “We approached our website design form the perspective of the user not the agent. Our goal was to build a website that exceeded their needs and accommodated anything they needed that was real estate related. Take our Grosse Pointe Michigan Real Estate section for example. A visitor can find everything here from up-to-date MLS listings of all property types, to school information, local demographic details, nearby amenities, and Walk Score ®. They can even view properties using Bird’s Eye or Street View technologies,” he added.

Eschenburg believes that despite the challenged economy, people’s needs should still be met by the real estate industry. He says that everyday buyers are entering the market and that there are sellers who could provide a great matching property for them without the hassles of short sales or the need for foreclosure renovations. “Our goal is to match as many private sellers with qualified buyers as possible. By taking this ideal to the market during these challenged times we can rest knowing we are making a difference, while our competitors are losing market share and their reputation. It’s really quite simple: It’s just the right thing to do.”
