Naperville, IL (PRWEB) December 2, 2009
Nania Energy, an established electricity provider in deregulated energy markets, recently expanded their coverage to include Michigan. The Michigan electricity market has become deregulated, meaning companies now have a choice of where their electricity supply comes from. This gives companies the opportunity to manage their energy assets and purchase their power strategically.
John Nania on the new territory “We have been working in Illinois since the start of electricity deregulation over 10 years ago, and we have seen the great things it has done for our state. This is an exciting time. Now Michigan has the same opportunity, and we can use our knowledge and expertise to guide them.”
Nania Energy hired more staff to focus on the Michigan electricity market. “This is a fresh concept to everyone in Michigan, and sometimes all it takes is a simple chat to understand the potential savings that are involved,” says new staff member, Jonathan Jordan. With a little bit of aid in the process, companies have an incredible opportunity to save on their electricity purchase.
One of the big differences between Michigan and Illinois is that Michigan has currently capped the number of companies that can switch to a third party electricity supplier at 10%. This means that the companies that are the quickest to act will capture the savings compared to the current utiltiy rates and will see the benefit to their bottom line. Once that 10% is filled, everyone else is forced to stay with the current electric utility supplier.
“It has long been the strong suit of our company to adapt with the times and use our flexibility to the client’s advantage,” says John Nania. “Michigan is new and exciting, and we are looking forward to bonding new strategic partnerships.”
