Grid Dynamics today announced a strategic relationship with Microsoft that makes Grid Dynamics a High Performance Computing (HPC) consultant and positions Grid Dynamics to continue building its Windows HPC Server practice with a strategic focus on delivering solutions for the financial services and semiconductor sectors.
While working toward this relationship, Grid Dynamics became a certified Microsoft consultant and is already delivering innovative, end-to-end solutions on the Windows HPC Server platform. This includes the HPC Excel Acceleration Tool Kit (HEAT), which is a set of simple interfaces that Grid Dynamics developed. HEAT allows customers to run complex Excel spreadsheets in distributed parallel execution environments on the Microsoft Windows HPC Server 2008 R2 beta. The solution has been validated in real-world tests and can be delivered to customers by Grid Dynamics.
