MidnightBox.com announced the release of its Android app this week which allows Android customers of the deal of the day site to have easy access to its product offerings each day. The release of the application is a result of the company's marketing strategy to provide flexibility and convenience to its consumers when interacting with the site. "We need to be able to keep up with our market and therefore, need to create various media outlets for them to reach us through" stated Ashley Cadwallader, the company's Marketing Director. The Android app is the company's second application release, following the release of its iPhone app in December of 2009.
The features of the new app will resemble those features found on the company's iPhone app which include:
- View and order of the daily deals all within the app
- Swipe left to reveal second image (if available)
- Tap image to enlarge
- Swipe up to reveal full product description
- View "Sell Out Meter"
- Quick two step check out
- Support for Box-A-Thons... Look for the Blue Lights!
- Link to MidnightBox.com to update account
Android users who would like to place orders through the app will need to be registered users of Midnightbox.com.
The app is available as a free download to Android users and can be found in the Android Market.
