Mile7 created an expression of our original vision that went well beyond what we had conceived. The richness they brought to the table made for a compelling story and increased our reach dramatically.
Portland, OR (PRWEB) November 25, 2010
Mile7, a web application development company working from Portland, Oregon, today announced that it had won a Silver Award for design and development of wherearethecures.org, created for the Myelin Repair Foundation. The website is focused on the development of a greater understanding of the barriers slowing the discovery and development of new patient treatments for multiple sclerosis and other chronic diseases. Developed on the Wordpress platform, the website features an original Flash movie created by Mile7, as well as an online manifesto with more than a thousand signatories from around the world.
Said Carol Menaker, Director of Marketing for the Myelin Repair Foundation: "Mile7 created an expression of our original vision that went well beyond what we had conceived. The richness they brought to the table made for a compelling story and increased our reach dramatically."
"We very much believe in the Myelin Repair Foundation's mission and were honored to work with them on this advocacy website," said Mile7 Partner Pam Conrad. "Most people aren't aware that billions are spent on medical research each year, yet few patient treatments result. The challenge was to educate people in engaging way that made the point, but also provided hope along with a strong call to action."
