Miller Fabrication Solutions, a strategic supply chain partner for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), has announced results from its annual customer survey in a downloadable infographic. The OEM fabricator has also welcomed new customer Independent Rough Terrain Center, LLC (IRTC), a global manufacturer of unique rough terrain material handling equipment for the military, oil and gas, construction, mining, intermodal logistics and other industries.

Part of Miller’s customer satisfaction initiatives is the distribution of its Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey to OEMs across construction and forestry, transportation and other industrial equipment industries. Responses are collected and reviewed by the leadership team for incorporation into short- and long-term strategic planning efforts.
“While this customer feedback is acted upon internally, we also wanted to share the results with our customer and prospective customer base in an easily-digestible way,” said Miller. “The infographic aims to accomplish this objective. At the same time, we seek to keep the conversation going by inviting customer comments in a less formal process throughout the year. Continuous improvement is a way of life for us.”
Customer responses highlighted in the infographic included the following:
- 90 percent of products are reported to be received on time, according to the majority of customers.
- 86 percent of customer respondents indicated that Miller is either “extremely responsive” or “very responsive.”
- The top four words customers used to describe Miller are “reliable,” “responsive,” “stable” and “collaborative.”
Miller’s newest customer, IRTC, has already seen the results of Miller’s emphasis on customer satisfaction.
“We have over 250 suppliers,” said Lyndie Wingenroth, director of supply chain operations, IRTC. “When we look at potential partners, we look at the quality they provide, their costs and delivery time. Miller has delivered on all three.”
Miller produces low volume, large metal components for the Cibolo, Texas-based company. These components include the bogie carriage for IRTC’s flagship military product, the RT240, as well as a radiator frame.
