MINDSCAPE at Hanon McKendry will host the Mindscape Internet Marketing Academy from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday, May 12-13, 2011 at the Grand Valley State University Eberhard Center in downtown Grand Rapids. This two-day, hands-on workshop is designed for marketing, PR and communications officers; business and nonprofit leaders; and others interested in learning in depth information about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media, Google Analytics, and developing an online strategy.
Day 1 will feature the Mindshare Process, an educational foundation on effective Internet marketing, including SEO, social media, and buyer persona analysis. Takeaways will include SEO strategies for top Google rankings, ways to identify exactly what target audiences are searching for, and strategies to get in front of "buyers" when they are ready to buy.
On Day 2, participants will learn how to implement their Internet marketing strategy with training focused on building an engaging social media presence and online reputation management. Takeaways from this hands-on SEO and social media training include an understanding of how to measure social media ROI, the ability to use and interpret Google Analytics, and a working knowledge of the technology used to do both.
Following the workshop, Mindscape will provide participants with ongoing support, including an hour of individualized consultation and a 90-day free membership in the online Mindscape Internet Marketing Academy.
