The Celebrated Writer and Blogger Shares Her Experiences at the Major International Food Show with the Gluten-Free Community

Miranda Jade Turbin, the acclaimed celiac advocate behind the award-winning website,, just attended the 2013 Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, California as a member of the media, and she has shared her experiences with the gluten-free community in her article, “Winter Fancy Food Show From A Gluten-Free Perspective.”

“I had an amazing time at the Fancy Food Show,” said Miranda Jade. “It was very rewarding to see so many gluten-free options available, and I was happy to report that to the community. I feel that the voice of the gluten-free community continues to be strong and growing in the international food marketplace.”

The Summer and Winter Fancy Food Shows started in 1955, and they remain the largest specialty food and beverage marketplace in North America. According to the National Association for the Special Food Trade’s website, “Between the Winter Show in San Francisco and the Summer Show in New York City, the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade events bring in more than 40,000 attendees from more than 80 countries and regions to see 260,000 innovative specialty food products, such as confections, cheese, coffee, snacks, spices, ethnic, natural, organic and more.”

Miranda Jade attended the Winter Fancy Food Show as a media member with the purpose of reporting on the event to the community and to raise awareness to other writers and journalists interested in the gluten-free cause. As a prolific writer about celiac disease issues in blogs, articles, and eBooks, she took the opportunity to share her thoughts and experiences.
