It feels really great to give back, especially in honor of those who have served and lost their lives in the armed forces.

Miranda Jade Turbin, the acclaimed celiac advocate behind the award-winning website, http://www.GlutenFreeHelp.info, surprised Los Angeles CrossFit athletes on Memorial Day morning with an abundance of gluten-free and paleo foods that she made herself.

Miranda Jade, the gluten-free writer and recipe developer who runs the internationally-acclaimed gluten-free resource website http://www.GlutenFreeHelp.info, showed up early Memorial Day morning at the Memorial Day “Murph,” a CrossFit tradition honoring men and women in the armed services. The event consists of a particularly challenging CrossFit workout which was the favorite of Lieutenant Michael Murphy, a Navy Seal killed in combat in Afghanistan in 2005. Miranda Jade showed up to the Los Angeles CrossFit with a large variety of gluten-free and paleo foods that she had made herself.

Miranda Jade, a noted advocate for celiac disease and the gluten-free community, has become increasingly involved in the CrossFit community over the past year. Inspired by her paleo family, including her mother, renowned children’s author and celiac advocate Tina Turbin, Miranda Jade has also been creating more and more paleo recipes.
