Minneapolis, MN (Vocus) July 24, 2010
Misaki Marketing Communications is pleased to announce its support of the Bike MS: Star Tribune TRAM Ride that takes place July 25 to 30, 2010. Each year cyclists raise donations and ride across Minnesota to help people who have been diagnosed with MS. Today there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many people face a lifetime filled with unpredictability.
The 2010 TRAM is a fully supported weeklong ride covering approximately 300 miles. Cyclists start at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Alexandria, Minn., Sunday night. Monday morning is the first day of riding as the event heads towards Little Falls. Tuesday, riders head to Pequot Lakes. On Wednesday and Thursday, the ride goes through Wadena and Fergus Falls. On Friday, July 30, the ride culminates back at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Alexandria.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will use funds collected from Bike MS to not only support research for a cure tomorrow, but also provide programs that address the needs of people living with MS today. Because we can fight this disease by simply riding a bike and because we have chosen to help thousands of people through a contribution, we are now getting closer to the hour when no one will have to hear the words, "You have MS."
