Big Timber, MT (PRWEB) October 9, 2009
Depsite thunderstorms with high winds, a leak that caused the Bug to flood, dead battery, mountain climbs and a surprise snow storm, Miss Hilda is beating the odds - and has arrived in Montana!
At http://www.misshilda.com, her growing base of fans follow the fun videos of her adventures, mishaps and this unique perspective of America. Miss Hilda's driver also keeps a blog on the website.
As Miss Hilda's driver said: "As the Simon and Garfunkel song says, we've gone to look for America. We want to discover the sights, events, food, parks, culture and people that make up America today. What is the character and mood of our great country today? We'll find out. Even though people intially laughed and told us that a 1966 VW Bug couldn't make it across the country -- we're doing it!!" A gream American road trip.
Miss Hilda is an almost all-orginal 1966 Pearl White Bug, that doesn't have air conditioning, power brakes, power steering or a radio! Miss Hilda boasts a whopping 50 HP engine with a tiny 6 volt battery!
