The action begins immediately. Participants spend five days living and working as operatives alongside Special Forces soldiers from the world’s most recognized special operations units.

Led by former Marine, Charles “CK” Redlinger and co-founder Harry Taylor, ex British SAS, a group of former international Special Forces soldiers recently launched MissionX, a company targeting business professionals and corporate executives seeking the ultimate fantasy vacation. Team MX gives participants an authentic special operations experience and takes advantage of a unique connection with KASOTC, the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center located in Amman, Jordan.
MissionX offers fantasy vacations with a special operations theme. The standard 5-day tactical “Special Operations Adventure Experience (SOAE)” immerses participants immediately “…in a series of missions and scenarios so intense and extreme that the lines between reality and fantasy are blurred,” according to the description on missionx.com. In an elaborate recreation, vacationers “become” members of a six to eight man elite unit activated to deploy. They receive detailed OPORDs (Operations Orders) and gather intelligence on several mission profiles. They then conduct discrete missions over a five-day period.
“We offer tactical adventures and not military training,” said Charles ‘CK” Redlinger, co-founder and former acting deputy director at KASOTC. “The action begins immediately. Participants spend five days living and working as operatives alongside Special Forces soldiers from the world’s most recognized special operations units.”
KASOTC was the vision of His Majesty, King Abdullah II of Jordan. As monarch of a country with one of the most capable Special Forces units in the world and with a background in special operations, King Abdullah II wished to create a center of excellence for special operations training. Constructed in the heart of the Middle East, KASOTC incorporates integrated advanced technology throughout, numerous ranges, a mock city, special battlefield effects, and a fiber optic network system connecting hundreds of cameras, microphones, target systems, and simulators. Set in twelve hundred acres, the purpose-built facility specializes in counter-terrorism, special operations and irregular warfare. Currently, KASOTC is the only training center of its kind in the world. Several members of Team MX were instrumental in developing the concept and execution of KASOTC in its formative years.
“We have conducted many training scenarios at KASOTC,” continued Redlinger, “It was a natural progression to offer affordable tactical adventures, corporate leadership and development training programs, and consulting to the film and television industry.”
MissionX provides tactical adventures, leadership and development training and consulting to the film and television industry. Details of military tactics that could put real military personnel at risk are not revealed. Tactical adventures involve highly-charged, realistic war-game scenarios. Leadership and development training is structured around military situations and operations. Technical advising for film and television draws on the expertise of an international team of ex-special forces operators with real-life experience of film making and special operations.
