The Gettysburg Collection is an example of how we try to take traditional styles and re-introduce them to new generations.

Weaver Furniture Sales, an Amish furniture source in Northern Indiana, recently debuted the Gettysburg Amish Dining Collection, a selection of Mission style hutches (check out the Gettysburg Five Door Hutch for a prime example), sideboards and dining cabinets. Noted for their craftsmanship and custom furniture, Weaver Furniture Sales released another set of pieces drawn on generations of tradition and various Amish furniture styles with the recent furniture collection.

The Gettysburg Dining Collection boasts the classic Mission style. The Mission style was first created and popularized in the early 20th century and has become one of the most celebrated furniture designs in the world of solid wood furniture. The Mission style accents can be seen in the simple right-angled frame of the hutch. Also, the wood mullions and traditional hardware are consistent with the Mission design.

The Gettysburg Dining Hutches are built from Midwestern Quarter Sawn White Oak and feature a rich wood finish. Innovative touch lighting allows for lights to be turned on or off with the simple touch of a door hinge. Full-extension dovetailed drawers allow for plenty of dynamic storage space and sturdy glass shelving offers beautiful space for displaying fine china and dishes. Subtle details such as butterfly inlays and adjustable shelves add a fine touch of Amish craftsmanship.

For 23 years, Weaver Furniture Sales has crafted top quality Amish furniture. The Gettysburg Dining Collection is the latest in a series of furniture collections that draw on generations of tradition and creative design. Store owner LeRoy Weaver states, "The Gettysburg Collection is an example of how we try to take traditional styles and re-introduce them to new generations."
