Hall and Hall Auctions sold O’Dell Farms, a 2,417± acre property just northeast of Kansas City, MO, for $10,916,000 to nine bidders on Wednesday, June 19th at the KCI-Expo Center. The Clay County, Missouri property offered in 23 tracts and combinations, featured 1,564± tillable acres, lush woodlands, multiple homes, several ponds, streams, out buildings, and great potential building sites.
“Bidders were intrigued by our unique auction process which allowed them to bid on individual tracts as well as design combinations of tracts that worked for their needs,” said Head of Hall and Hall Auctions Scott Shuman. “Prices ranged from $3,434/ac to $7,622/ac. It is always a great day when the buyer and seller can be brought together in an open format. ”
The Missouri farm auction had 81 registered bidders and over 300 in attendance. There were 155 bids posted, including 30 combination bids.
“The sellers were very pleased and the nine new buyers were relieved when the gavel came down,” said Shuman. “Bidding was very spirited for recreational land as well as farmland.”
