“The book is fun, so it takes people away from their troubles for a while, yet it carries a deep message, conveyed in multiple levels,” Michaelides explains.

In her new fantasy novel, “Rainbow Angel” (published by iUniverse), author M. Michaelides uses evocative imagery and memorable characters to tell a story about tolerance, gratitude and learning to offer unconditional love.

In the enchanted land known as Fos, the king and queen send their many children into a variety of exciting adventures. “Rainbow Angel” follows the journey of their daughter, Anthea, who travels to a garden called Talia with her sunflower friend, Zoe.

Zoe and Anthea visit the four corners of Talia, giving out invitations to a party being held in honor of autistic children. Archangels Uriel, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael also play important roles.

An excerpt from “Rainbow Angel”:

“But the more Anthea tried to untangle Zoe’s roots, the further underwater the sunflower slipped. Zoe’s head of petals was almost immersed, and her roots were more entangled than ever. Anthea was beginning to feel desperate, and she started to pray inwardly to her parents for help. Just then she noticed that she and Zoe were being watched by a very old tree, a weeping willow.

The weeping willow, silent until that moment, whispered, ‘Can I help you?’”

“The book is fun, so it takes people away from their troubles for a while, yet it carries a deep message, conveyed in multiple levels,” Michaelides explains.
