Users expect the same kind of experience with their mobile BI as they do with consumer applications.
Ottawa, Canada (PRWEB) September 02, 2012
Klipfolio Inc today released the results of a study of how users are accessing its mobile BI. The results speak for themselves: over 80% of mobile access is done using an Apple product. In fact, Klipfolio revealed that iPad access accounts for over half (56%) of access to Klipfolio Dashboard for web and mobile, with the iPhone accounting for just under a quarter (24%) of access. These findings demonstrate that Apple's products are leading the way when it comes to accessing mobile BI, with tablets taking priority over phones.
"That the iPad accounts for over half of mobile access to our mobile BI offering tells us that users expect the same kind of experience with their mobile BI as they do with consumer applications," says Allan Wille, CEO and President of Klipfolio. "Our goal is deliver a mobile BI dashboard that fulfills these expectations."
Klipfolio's mobile BI offering, Klipfolio Dashboard for web and mobile, is accessible on mobile devices, web browsers, and virtually any internet enabled device. Users can log into their dashboard on a web browser to create and publish KPIs, while other users can view these exact same KPIs on their iPhone or iPad. Klipfolio believes that business intelligence should include everyone, which is why Klipfolio Dashboard is accessible anywhere business decisions need to be made.
