Mobile marketing agency Punchkick Interactive appoints Dirk Rients as Director of Business Development and Mobile Strategy. Dirk joins from JWT INSIDE in Chicago.

Punchkick Interactive, America's first design firm to focus exclusively on full-service mobile marketing, is pleased to announce the addition of Dirk Rients as Director of Business Development and Mobile Strategy. In this role, Rients will be responsible for generating and fostering client relationships, as well as providing strategic direction for new mobile business opportunities.

Before joining Punchkick Interactive, Rients served as a Digital Strategist and Business Development Director at J. Walter Thompson in Chicago, leading new business initiatives in the mobile space. He has over six years experience in business development and his digital expertise includes search engine marketing, video, social media, and mobile marketing.

Rients is also a founding member and Director of Best Practices at the Heartland Mobile Council, a Chicago-based non-profit organization whose mission is to “cross the chasm” from mobile technologies to mobile marketing. He has participated in panel discussions and spoken at conferences including ad:tech Chicago to promote trends and research about the mobile industry.
